E-Z Switch

The E-Z Switch can be used as a grain/material level indicator (for grain storage bins, wet holding bins, bulk feed bins), as an on-off switch (for automatic feeders, grain dryers, unloading pits, mixing mills, air conveyors), or as a safety shut-off (for grain/feed bucket elevators, augers and conveyors, feeding systems). The device consists of a PVC box with internal relay and capacitive sensor. As grain/material comes within 1/2-inch of the tip of the sensor, the sensor “observes” the resulting change in capacitance and activates the relay, which can trigger a signal/alarm or can start/stop an operation.
