Lazyman Hitch

The Lazyman Hitch, developed by Fred Hansen of Santa Rosa, CA, has a second drawbar mounted beneath the standard tractor drawbar in such a way that it can be pivoted up and down by the three-point hitch arms. A pin is welded onto the bottom drawbar so it lines up with the standard drawbar pin hole. When the bottom drawbar is raised, the two drawbars are pressed together, with the pin passing up through the drawbar hole from the bottom. To hitch an implement, the bottom drawbar is lowered to the level of the implement tongue, the pin hooks onto a steel loop welded onto the tongue, then the drawbar is lifted up, causing the pin to pass through the steel loop on the tongue then through the standard drawbar hole.
