Momentary Joystick Steering Control

Butterfield, MN, farmer Dale Baerg’s four-wheel-drive tractor has two steering options—a Momentary Joystick Steering Control (similar to that on a power wheelchair) and standard steering wheel with tri-pin steering device. Both can be operated independently without affecting each other. Baerg uses the joystick control for major turns and maneuvers and uses the steering wheel for fine adjustments while driving down the crop rows.
