Automotive Parking Brake-Type Clutch Lever

To more easily actuate the tractor clutch, Fairmount, IL, farmers Ty and Mark Tresler have incorporated an Automotive Parking Brake-Type Clutch Lever with a linkage and cable connection. The hand-operated mechanism locks the clutch into position at a series of points, allowing the Treslers to disengage the clutch, release the clutch lever, shift gears, and then re-engage the clutch to proceed.

Caution: It is important with this mechanism that the clutch be fully engaged during tractor operation, otherwise premature clutch failure will likely occur. Also, never leave the tractor with the engine running and the transmission in gear.
