The SuperStand Stand-Up Wheelchair allows one who is otherwise normally limited to a seated position in a traditional wheelchair to stand up and stretch out easily and safely. Lapsed time from sitting to standing position is 2 to 10 seconds, depending on user control of the hydraulic-cylinder-activated chair.
