Reacher/Grabber

A Reacher/Grabber, which serves as an extension of the arm, allows one to retrieve small-to-medium size, various shaped (but not heavy) items from high shelves, tight spaces, floors, or the ground without the need for extensive bending or stretching. Most types consist of a 32- to 36-inch shaft with a pistol-grip handle and pull-trigger at one end and a claw-like pincer at the other. Among make/model variations: shaft-foldable, telescoping; claw- U- or V-shaped, magnetized, rotatable; grippers-rubberized, suction-cup.
