Four-Wheeled Dump Cart
A Four-Wheeled Dump Cart allows one to move over uneven terrain-then deposit a load of dirt, mulch, debris, gravel, loose or bagged bulk material, etc., with more stability than does a single- or double-wheeled wheelbarrow. It is designed with 10-inch-diameter tires; has a polyester tray that is rust-proof; and has a quick-release, spring-loaded dump mechanism. Also, for those types with a pull-handle at the end of the tongue, the handle folds out of the way so the tongue can be attached to a lawn, garden, or utility tractor and towed. Carrying capacities generally range from 600 to 1,200 pounds, although recommended dump capacity is about half that amount.
Cost: $100-$260, depending primarily on dimensions/carrying capacity
Impairment Category: Back, Lower extremity, Strength/endurance, Upper extremity
