Vertical-Pivot Gate

A Vertical-Pivot Gate (VPG) opens by swinging upward (not outward like a standard gate), some advantages of that being:-no need for large swing area; operation not hindered by deep snow, muddy conditions, etc.; no pulleys/cables/belts that could fail. They are made of heavy-gauge metal tubing, are available in varying lengths and heights, run off solar energy, and respond to in-vehicle controllers. A 9-volt battery-powered remote transmitter opens the gates. Once the vehicle passes, the gate pivots back down after a pre-programmed time duration.
