Homemade Sloped Manure Tray

A Homemade Sloped Manure Tray reduces back strain caused by shoveling out a chicken coop. The tray under the roosts in Tiffany Jones’s small chicken house catches most of her laying hen’s droppings. (A large percentage of manure is dropped while chickens are roosting.) She periodically opens a customized door to the outside and scrapes the manure from the tray into a tractor loader bucket to be hauled away.
