These knobby-designed Wheelchair Tire Traction Covers, which fit over the chair’s slim, often-tread-less tires, are designed to markedly increase friction and grip on soft, wet, or slippery surfaces and provide extra puncture protection. One mounts/removes each cover while remaining in the chair by attaching it to a Velcro-lined clip affixed to the rim then rolling it onto the wheel. The pliable covers can be stored in a cloth carrying bag (provided) when not in use.
