Battery-Powered Liquid Transfer Pump

A Battery-Powered Liquid Transfer Pump is designed to eliminate the strain of lifting, chance of spilling, and messiness often associated with transferring liquids (e.g., gasoline, oil, chemicals, detergents, mild acids, water) from one container to another. Running off two D-cell batteries, this small, portable, hand-held device will reportedly pump up to 6 gallons a minute, depending on model. To operate, one inserts the suctioning tube into the container of what’s to be transferred and the discharge hose into what’s to receive the liquid then presses the button that activates the pump. (Some makes/models automatically shut off when the receiving container is full.)
