Utilizing wireless Bluetooth technology, this Smartphone-Run Irrigation Controller (a battery-operated sensing device called the Sennode-bt) is designed to allow growers to program, operate, and manage their systems from to 50 feet away, an important feature where AC power is unavailable. The phone’s app maps and messages each controller, making needed adjustments and eliminating having to open valve boxes and programming irrigation schedules on a dark screen. The controller’s quick cycle-and-pulse misting feature is designed to be beneficial for propagation, germinating seeds, greenhouse climate control, and other time-sensitive applications.
