Consisting of a hay rack with a grain/feed pan underneath, the galvanized steel Double-Sided Combination Feeder for Sheep/Goats allows animal access from both sides. The rack, which is made of 3/8-inch rods set 3 inches apart, is V-shaped to ensure that any loose forage will fall into the pan; the feed pan is 4 to 6 inches deep with small drain holes to let water out. Most makes/models are about 3 feet high and 3 feet wide, but differ in length (from 4 feet to 10 feet). Also, some have four legs, while some have legs at one end and wheels at the other for easier transport; however, all types are height-adjustable.
