The Hopper Trailer Trap Opener is designed to protect one from the various hazards associated with opening/closing the trailer’s hopper trapdoors. The pneumatic-powered tool reportedly has these qualities: designed to be safe around grain dust, no torque transferred to operator, non-impacting operation, lightweight, and ergonomic. It features a reaction arm that is designed to counter the torque created; an adjustable pressure regulator that can be set anywhere between 74 and 370 foot-pounds; a stabilization handle that can be positioned for left, right, or vertical operation; and three other fittings in addition to the most common base fitting.
