WatchDog Grain Bin Dryer Monitor

Installed on any GSI dryer equipped with the Vision interface, the WatchDog Grain Bin Dryer Monitor is designed to allow one to keep tabs on and control such functions as moisture, temperature, and operating status from a web-accessible device (e.g., smartphone, desktop or laptop PC, tablet) without having to download or update an app. WatchDog sends text messages or emails to one’s device regarding the dryer’s functioning, when a problem arises, if the dryer happens to shut off, etc.; and virtually every responsive action can be initiated from the device, except starting the dryer (for safety’s sake).

Cost: $1,500 - $2,500 depending on what dryer the monitor is mounted on. Note that the customer normally also supplies the cell modem – available for around $600.
