GrainViz Grain Bin Monitoring System

The GrainViz Grain Bin Monitoring System scans the bin and produces 3D images that reportedly allow one to see the moisture content of every individual bushel via a mobile phone, tablet, or PC. It can also be programmed to provide text alerts or email notifications and data necessary for inventory management reports, insect infestation problems, and fan control-all in real-time. The system consists of 24 sensors installed on the inside walls that transmit radio waves through the grain, a top box that houses the electronics for transmitting/and receiving radio frequency waves to and from the sensors, and a bottom box containing a sensor that collects in-bin temperature-, moisture-, pressure-condition data and an integrated outdoor temperature-moisture sensor, which serves essentially as a bin-specific weather station.
