Glow-in-the-Dark Safety Tape provides increased safety by ensuring that walkways, stairways, exits, etc., are more visible in the darkness. Photons imbedded in the tape material absorb energy given off by natural or artificial light sources so that, when it becomes dark or the lights go out, they emit this energy to produce a glow. Because photons perform at varying levels, tape glow times will likewise vary.
