Its low-profile design is such that all tasks (e.g., feeding, watering, cleaning, waste handling, egg-collecting) are performed from the outside, making this coop an option for wheelchair users. Among the coop’s features: (1) updraft ventilation to aid the hen’s respiratory health/safety in hot or cold climates, (2) filled-from-the-outside feeders and waterers that are elevated inside so as to not take up run space, (3) nine egg-laying spots from which the eggs roll down into three external gathering boxes (Note: one can be replaced with a brooder/chick grow-out box), and (4) four access doors for raking the run or that serve as turn-out doors for free-ranging.
