Kaptarlift Beehive Lifter/Mover

Available as an electric or manual model, the Kaptarlift Beehive Lifter/Mover is designed to lift and transport hives, whether empty or full of bees and honey. It can also be used for removing heavy boxes of honey when harvesting or under-supering and to elevate brood boxes to a comfortable height in order to perform inspection and maintenance. With the battery-powered electric version, lifting/lowering and locomotion are via controller on the handle (4-hour operating time before recharge needed). With the manual version, lifting/lowering is via hand-ratcheting winch. With both models, loading up a hive to lift and move reportedly takes about 15 seconds.
