Precision Vacuum Seeding System

Accommodating anything from watermelon to petunias as well as cell packs, the Precision Vacuum Seeding System is designed to direct-seed up to 250 plug trays per hour (standard 10-20 tray format). Consisting of seed assembly, transparent seeder plate, collection tray with holder, vacuum pump, orifice cleaner, and inspection light, the System seeds the entire tray at once, not row at a time. It works as follows: (1) the seeds are poured into seeder plate and moved around as vacuum pressure collects them at the open holes; (2) while held vertically, the plate is gently bumped until there’s a seed in each hole then inverted and placed it over a soil-filled plug tray; (3) shutting the suction valve releases all seeds simultaneously into their respective cells.
