The heavy-duty Compact Tractor-Towed Trimmer/Mower, which connects to the three-point-hitch mechanism and PTO shaft of any category 1 tractor, allows one to trim (and even knock-down-mow) large areas or over greater distances from the driver’s seat. The unit has a pivoting deck for use along roadsides, ditch or pond banks, fencerows, and areas of uneven terrain. Its 23-inch-diameter, steel guarded, spring-loaded trimming/mowing arm is designed to automatically deflect around obstacles, while its adjustable-height anti-scalping wheel reportedly prevents damage to the ground. In addition, utilizing the tractor’s hydraulic lift is designed to provide for optimum control of the trimming/mowing height.
