Portable Poultry Plucker

Set up to operate almost anywhere, this Portable Poultry Plucker is designed to remove the feathers from just-scalded birds in as little as 30 seconds. The device consists of a high-density polyvinyl box (measures 40 x 17 x 16 inches) with a 1,724 rpm electric motor at the back end, steel belt guard on the side, removable steel grate on the top, and steel drum inside, which has 28 rubber ‘fingers’ that, as the drum rotates, rub the feathers off the bird. The unit stands at kitchen-counter height (33 inches) on four removable steel legs.
