Forklift-Mounted Drum Gripper

The hydraulically powered Forklift-Mounted Drum Gripper, which slips onto the machine’s forks, allows one to lift and transport 30- and 55-gallon steel barrels via the operator’s station controls. The device’s arms are lowered around and tightly squeeze the drum then are raised to lift it off the ground for transporting. Lowering the drum back down to the ground causes the arms to release their grip. Lifting capacity ranges from 800 to 2,000 pound, depending on model.
