Homemade Two-Wheeled Manual Weeder

His Homemade Two-Wheeled Manual Weeder is not only easier to push than a single-wheeler, but also ensures uniform depth control, claims Marlin Galde of Wahpeton, ND. Riding on 16-inch pneumatic wheels front and rear, the tools consists of a steel frame on which is bolted a 12-inch-wide weed bar slightly ahead of a row of spring teeth that loosens both soil and weeds before the rear wheel passes over them. The handlebars are made from 3/4-inch rigid electrical conduit with grips added for control and comfort. Galde loosens two nuts to adjust the weed bar’s depth.
