Ag-Wrap Round Bale Wrapper

Attached to the tractor’s three-point hitch or mounted to its front-end loader or to a skid loader (via quick-attach plate), the Ag-Wrap Round Bale Wrapper picks up and air-tight-wraps a 4- to 6-foot round bale in 2-minutes time, while on the move to where the bale is to be dropped or stack-stored with the Ag Wrap Bale Handler. The machine consists of a set of bottom roller bars that are extended out hydraulically to either side of the bale to first lift then continuously turn it during the wrapping process, an overhead arm that rotates 360 degrees around the bale to apply the plastic wrap, a 30-inch pre-stretcher (allowing one to use 20- or 30-inch plastic), and a valve control that adjusts the plastic overlap and wrapping speed. The entire operation is accomplished via hand-held remote from the tractor/skid steer seat. Generally, white plastic, which causes condensation, is used to wrap high-moisture baled hay to be used as balage (silage bales); while black plastic, which pulls moisture from under the plastic, is used for dry baled hay or baled straw.
