Mini and Flip-Top Cold Frame Kits

FarmTek’s Mini and Flip-Top Cold Frame Kits allow one to start seedlings early, shelter tender plants, extend the growing season, and provide over-wintering protection for delicate evergreens or shrubs. The ‘mini’ kit includes: 19-gauge structural steel tubing frame, 6-mil greenhouse film with UV blockers and anti-dust additive, plus ground posts (base lumber and stackable joint corners sold separately.) The ‘flip-top’ kit includes: 19-gauge structural steel tubing frame; a UV-resistant, translucent, PolyCor cover with hinged flip-top; and 2- by 6-inch, wood-tone, recycled-plastic lumber base that reportedly won’t rot, crack, split, or splinter.
