Tailgate Hitch Lift

Attached to a pickup, flatbed, or service truck’s 2-inch receiver hitch and winch-driven by a 12-volt DC motor powered by the vehicle’s electrical system, the Tailgate Hitch Lift can reportedly hoist objects weighing as much as 700 pounds from ground level to the truck-bed level in a matter of seconds. Some makes rise to extend either over top of or out beyond the tailgate, others actually replace the tailgate itself. Some are operated via toggle switch, others via hand-held remote. All have either twin outriggers or two lift arms for stability.
