Long-Handled Soil-Replacing Bulb Planter

This Long-Handled Soil-Replacing Bulb Planter allows one to stand upright and exert only ‘foot power’ to make the holes to plant–and cover–flower bulbs, grass plugs, seedlings, etc. Pushing down on the tool’s footplate captures in the planter’s shaft the soil core, leaving a 3-inch-diameter hole up to 6 inches deep. After placing the bulb by hand, the soil is then released from the shaft back into the hole by depressing the tool’s plunger.
