John Deere Tractor Active Seat

The John Deere Tractor Active Seat combines air suspension with electro-hydraulic technology to maximize riding comfort while minimizing vibration- and other body/fatigue-related risks to the operator. The system is designed to sense the tractor’s vertical movements and constantly adjusts the seat to isolate the driver from up to 90% of their effect. In addition, a switch on the left-hand armrest allows the operator to select three levels of ‘ride firmness’-“plus” (greatest degree of firmness so more of the tractor’s inputs can be felt), “minus” (least degree of firmness so minimal inputs are felt), and “mid” (a balance between the plus and minus settings).
