With a Wireless Remote Outlet Control System, one can turn on/off electrical devices-e.g., lights, radio, TV, heater, fan-from across the room or even in another part of the house using a hand-held remote controller. The signal from the remote travels through walls and other obstacles up to 100 feet away (depending on model).
