Vehicle Access Transfer Seat

The Vehicle Access Transfer Seat facilitates transfer from a wheelchair to the driver or passenger position. Installed under the vehicle’s original seat and activated by hand-held remote, it is a mechanism that rotates the seat to face outward, extends it outside the doorsill, then lowers it to wheelchair level. Once transfer is completed, the procedure is reversed to restore the seat back to its normal position. The mechanism can be adapted for use in to a wide range of vehicles, including pickup trucks, sedans, mini- and full-size vans, SUVs, and crossovers.
