The Collect-N-GO Soil Sample Collection Kit reportedly reduces collection time, works in all types of soil, assures consistent sampling depth, minimizes operator fatigue, and requires only a cordless drill. The kit includes a bucket with collection tube inside extending through the bottom, a soil auger, and a security tie. To extract a sample, (1) the bucket is placed on the ground with collection tube contacting the soil, (2) the bucket is pressed downward using the handle grip; (3) the drill-mounted soil auger is inserted into the collection tube, the drill turned on and pressed down to the desired depth (marked on the bucket); (3) the drill is pulled up until the auger is out of the collection tube; and (4) the samples removed from the bucket via the pour spout into the lab analysis container.
