Cable Grab Fall Arrestor

A Cable Grab Fall Arrestor is designed to provide fall protection if ascending or descending on a winch-actuated man-lift or from a variety of vertical structures like a grain bin. If the winch motor malfunctions, the stainless steel grab locks onto the lift cable or wire lifeline, preventing the possibility of a free-fall. The device, which can be attached/detached/repositioned anywhere along the cable or lifeline, is to be used with an energy-absorbing lanyard and full-body harness to be considered an OSHA-approved personal fall-arrest system.
