Sideswipe Herbicide Applicator

The Sideswipe Herbicide Applicator is a hand-held wipe-on herbicide-applying wand that allows one to spot-weed under as well as around plants, without the danger of the chemical drifting, dripping, or leaching. It consists of: a 53-inch reservoir handle (holds 1 quart of material), a polyester nap wiper pad (with automatic feeding), a hose-threaded fitting (to insert a shut-off value), a clear plastic elbow (shows fluid level/gives pad 180° rotation), and a pad shield (for wiping underneath plants). Available in two models: one with a 9-inch pad (32-ounce capacity) for commercial fruit/vegetable plantings orchards, etc, use; the other with a 6-inch pad (24-ound capacity) for home lawns, gardens, walkways, etc.
