Stow-Away Powered Transfer Seat

The Stow-Away Powered Transfer Seat is designed to transfer an individual from a wheelchair into a pickup truck or SUV with the push of a button. Located in a sealed container affixed to the vehicle’s undercarriage (normally to the running board mount), the Stow-Away, when activated, slides out of the container drawer and rises to the desired height for transfer from the chair. Once transferred, the user continues up to the vehicle’s seat height and slides into the cab. The product is compatible with 1/2-, 3/4-, and 1-ton pickups with standard-, extended-, and crew-cab configurations. No modifications are required, and driver- and passenger-side versions are available and can be reinstalled on another vehicle. Standard features include emergency backup system and removable safety handle for stability. Hand-held pendant control, taller seat pad, and transfer plate are available options.
