Wheelchair-Accessible Golf/Utility Carts

Wheelchair-Accessible Golf/Utility Carts allow people to drive their wheelchair or scooter directly onto the vehicle, lock it in, and then transport themselves for distances, at speeds, and on terrain beyond the capability of the chair or scooter. These length-extended carts feature lowered floors, self-rising/lowering access ramps, and fold-down driver’s seats. The manufacturer offers already-customized, self-driven or other-driven models (called Runabouts and Rideabouts); however, they will also modify customer-provided carts for wheelchair use. Some models come with joystick control.
