It's reportedly powerful enough to sink 9-gauge barbed staples from 11/2 to 2 inches into most wooden fence posts. Most makes/models feature a top-load magazine, quick-release nose for easy clearing of jams, one-piece drive blade, and anodized aluminum cylinder and magazine.
