Wheeled Magnetic Sweeper Tool
Wheeled Magnetic Sweeper Tool

The Wheeled Magnetic Sweeper Tool picks up ferrous material (e.g., nails, nuts, bolts, screws, washers, metal scraps) from the shop floor or around a machining area. The device consists of a magnetic bar (14 to 48 inches wide, depending on the model) in a two-wheeled, stainless steel or plastic housing with a long handle. Most types have a release lever or chain that, when pushed or pulled, causes the picked-up debris to fall away; others release by wiping the magnet clean with a heavy shop towel. Some models come with bracket assemblies on top of the housing that accommodate the tines of a forklift.

Estimated Cost Cost range: $85-$310, depending on size, pick-up capacity, etc.
