The report of nationwide AgrAbility client demographic data for the 2016-17 grant year is available by clicking here. According AgrAbility's definitions, a "client" is someone who has received at least one onsite AgrAbility consultation, and the report indicates that 1,553 clients were served during the aforementioned reporting period. The three most common types of primary agricultural enterprises reported were livestock (primarily beef), dairy, and field/grain operations. The most common cause of reported primary disability was chronic illness (48.4%), while 48.0% of primary disabilities were the result of an injury of which 32.1% were non-agriculture-related and 15.9% agriculture-related. Veterans composed 22.2% of the clients who reported veteran status. Many other statistics are summarized.
